The People’s Committee of Binh Duong province has just issued a decision to recover nearly 346 hectares of rubber tree land in Yen Hung ward and Hoi Nghia commune (Tan Uyen town) to build the Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park project to expand phase 2.
The entire acquired land area was once granted a land use right certificate by the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province to Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company to plant rubber trees in 2010, valid until May 2046. .
According to Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company, for many years, rubber trees on this land have not yielded efficiency and need to change land use purposes. Currently, Phuoc Hoa Rubber Company is completing the procedures to hand over land to project investors.
Previously, the People’s Committee of Binh Duong province approved a detailed plan of 1/2000 scale allowing the infrastructure investor, Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, to expand by 346 hectares of land connecting to Nam Tan Industrial Park. Uyen expanded at the junction of Hoi Nghia and Uyen Hung ward (Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province).
It is known that Binh Duong currently has 28 industrial parks with a total area of over 10,000 hectares, about 1,500 businesses in operation. This province is also one of the leading localities in the country in attracting FDI in industrial zones.
